  • NJASL MONITORS regulations and follows government activities in Trenton that apply to school librarians and keeps our members apprised. Our legislative representatives attend the NJ Dept. of Education monthly meetings and help to keep us informed, as well as advocates on topics such as SGOs and the new Teacher Effectiveness Evaluation System, state budgets and school and library funding, and learning standards such as the Core Curriculum Content Standards.
  • NJASL PROVIDES toolkits, position papers, and links on our website to help you in all aspects of managing your school library and working with your administration.
